Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 Tbsp. applesauce
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 c. orange juice
    1 c. cranberries, chopped in half
    1/2 c. shelled walnuts
Preparation
    Cut cranberries in half and shell walnuts.
    (Put aside until later.)
    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and soda together.
    Mix beaten egg, orange juice and applesauce together.
    Gradually add to dry ingredients.
    Add nuts and cranberries.
    Pour into a loaf pan (9 x 4 x 3-inch).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes in aluminum pan (60 minutes for heavier metal pans).
    Top will be pale, it doesn't brown.
