Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, sliced
    3 Tbsp. fat
    3 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 1/2 lb. beef (round, chuck, rump)
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In heavy skillet, cook onion and green pepper in fat until tender. Then take the beef and pound flour into it with the edge of a heavy plate. Brown meat on both sides in the fat. Then add the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, water, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
