Sausage Cornbread Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    3 Tbsp. mustard
    1 (7 oz.) can Mexicorn, drained
    1/2 lb. smoked Polish sausage, cut into 16 slices
Preparation
    Prepare muffin mix according to package directions, except using the egg, milk and mustard.
    Mix until moistened.
    Stir in corn and spoon into greased 9-inch pan.
    Place sausage 1 inch apart on top of mixture and bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
    Makes 8 servings.
