Au Gratin Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk with 2 tsp. butter
    2 c. sharp shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    6 medium potatoes
    1/4 c. fine bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook onions in butter until tender, stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Cook over low heat until smooth.
    Cool and stir in milk with butter and 1 1/2 cups cheese.
    Heat for 1 minute.
    Put potatoes in casserole dish, pour cheese sauce over potatoes.
    Bake 1 hour at 375\u00b0.
    Put balance of cheese over, sprinkle crumbs and heat 15 minutes longer.
