Orange Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. grated orange peel
    1/2 c. orange juice
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    3 c. cooked, diced or sliced canned beets, drained
Preparation
    Heat grated peel, orange and lemon juice in double boiler. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Add all at once and stir until thickened and clear.
    Add butter or margarine and beets and heat in double boiler 15 to 20 minutes.
    Slices of orange to garnish. Serves 4 to 6.
