Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. yellow squash
    1/2 c. onion
    1/2 c. cracker meal crumbs
    1 stick butter
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Wash and cut up squash.
    Boil, drain and mash.
    Add all ingredients to squash except 1/2 cup butter.
    Pour into baking dish.
    Spread with melted butter-sprinkled crumbs.
    Bake 1 hour at 375\u00b0.
    Yield:
    6 to 8 servings.
