Holiday Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
3 sliced, ripe bananas
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. nuts
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/3 c. chopped dates
1/3 c. chopped maraschino cherries
Preparation

Cream together the Crisco and brown sugar.
Beat in the eggs and bananas.
Add plain flour, soda and baking powder.
Stir in nuts, chocolate chips, dates and cherries.
Pour into two 7 3/4 x 3 1/4 x 2-inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Wrap and let set overnight before slicing.
