Fruit Cake Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    3/4 c. boiling water
    3 c. sliced fruit or berries
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. honey
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Cream the shortening.
    Add sugar gradually; cream until light and fluffy.
    Add part of the honey. Add flour mixture alternately, mixing well after each addition. Pour into greased pan or baking dish.
    Place fruit or berries on top of batter.
    Sprinkle with remaining honey and 1/4 cup sugar; dot with butter.
    Pour boiling water over mixture.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until done.
