Remarkable Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can milk
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 c. marshmallow cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Butter sides of heavy 3-quart saucepan.
    Combine milk and sugar.
    Cook to soft ball stage, stirring frequently.
    Remove. Add chocolate pieces, marshmallow cream, vanilla and nuts.
    Pour into a 9 x 9 x 2-inch buttered pan.
