Grandma'S Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 qt. tomatoes
    1 stalk celery
    green pepper
    10 medium onions
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt (per qt.)
    2 tsp. (scant) pepper
Preparation
    Boil celery, onions and green pepper in small amount of water for 1/2 hour. Add tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Let bubble for 20 minutes. Add sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Continue to boil for 5 minutes. Put in jars and seal.
