Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. thinly sliced potatoes
    1 1/2 c. thinly sliced onions
    2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. butter
    7 tsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. paprika
    2 c. milk
    1 1/2 Tbsp. parsley
    1/8 lb. Cheddar cheese, sliced thin
Preparation
    With 1 inch of boiling water in saucepan, boil onions and potatoes with 2 teaspoons salt, covered, for 5 minutes; drain. Cook flour, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper, paprika, milk and cheese. Cook, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened.
    Arrange potatoes and onions in greased 8 x 8-inch casserole dish.
    Follow with parsley, sauce, potatoes and onions; repeat.
    Top with cheese.
    Bake for 35 minutes at 400\u00b0.
