Quick Yeast Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. warm water
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation
    Measure warm water into a large warm bowl.
    Sprinkle in yeast; stir until dissolved.
    Stir in sugar and half the flour; add salt. Beat with spoon until smooth.
    Add egg and shortening.
    Beat in rest of flour until smooth.
    Scrape down sides of bowl; cover. Let rise in a warm place until double in bulk, about 30 minutes. Stir down dough; spoon into 12 large greased muffin cups, filling each 1/2 full.
    Again, let rise until dough reaches top of muffin cups, 20 to 30 minutes.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until done.
