Whole Wheat Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/4 c. mashed banana or 3 small
Preparation
    Combine flour, soda and salt; stir well and set aside. Combine butter and sugar; cream mixture until light and fluffy. Add egg and mix well; combine banana and buttermilk.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with dry ingredients, stirring only until combined.
    Pour batter into a greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until bread tests done.
    Cool 10 minutes in pan.
    Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
