Ingredients

2 pkg. Lipton onion soup
6 c. water
3 to 4 onions (medium), sliced
3 chicken bouillon cubes
dried chives or green onion tops
a pinch or two dried parsley
croutons
grated Mozzarella cheese
Preparation

In 3-quart saucepan, add 2 packages of soup mix and water. Add sliced onions, bouillon cubes, parsley and chives.
Cook to a boil.
Simmer 1 to 2 hours.
Serve with croutons and grated cheese on top.
Put under broiler for 4 minutes or until cheese is lightly brown.
