Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    2 1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large saucepan; add brown sugar.
    Cool.
    Stir in eggs; blend well.
    Add vanilla.
    Add flour and baking powder. Stir in chocolate bits and nuts.
    Pour into a greased and floured jelly roll pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until done.
    Cool. Cut into squares.
