Ingredients

1/2 Cup Crisco
1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 Eggs
1 1/2 Tsp. Vanilla
2 3/4 Cup Flour
1/2 Tsp. Soda
1/2 Tsp. Salt
Preparation

Mix crisco, butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly with hands. Press and mold into a long smooth roll.
Wrap in wax paper and chill until stiff (several hours).
Cut into thin slices (1/8 to 1/16 inch) thick.
Place slices on ungreased baking sheet.
