Ingredients

1 box light brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
5 eggs
3 c. sifted plain white flour
1 c. milk
3 sticks butter
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream butter and sugars well.
Add eggs one at a time; then add other ingredients and bake in a greased tube cake pan for 1 1/2 hours.
