Hearty Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 potatoes, cubed
    1 onion, chopped
    3 carrots, sliced
    2 celery sticks and leaves, cut up
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. thyme
    parsley, chopped
    2 cans stewed tomatoes
    2 c. water
    1 lb. beef, veal or lamb, cut up
Preparation
    Add more water if needed.
    Cook until meat and vegetables are tender, about 2 hours.
