Sausage Strata - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. mild pork sausage
    1 tsp. mustard
    6 slices bread
    margarine
    1 c. grated cheese
    6 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Scramble fry sausage and squeeze to remove as much fat as possible.
    Trim edges from bread and butter both sides.
    Place in 12 x 8 x 2-inch casserole dish.
    Mix mustard with sausage and spread over bread.
    Sprinkle cheese on top of sausage.
    Mix eggs, milk, salt and nutmeg; pour over all.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or until set.
