Orange Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
Preparation
    Cream shortening; add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture, mixing until smooth.
    Gradually add orange juice, beating just until blended; stir in orange rind and nuts.
    Bake in greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 60 to 65 minutes or until bread tests done.
