Poppy Seed Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. poppy seed
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 eggs
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Soak poppy seed in buttermilk.
    Set aside.
    Separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff and set aside.
    Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten egg yolks and almond flavoring.
    Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk and poppy seed mixture.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Pour into greased and floured bread pan.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0 or longer.
    Makes 1 large or 3 small loaves.
