Ingredients

1/2 c. maple syrup
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 egg white
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix together syrup, sugar and water.
Boil to hard-ball stage.
Remove from fire.
Add vanilla and pour hot syrup over stiffly beaten egg white.
Add nuts.
Beat until stiff enough to hold shape.
Drop from teaspoon on waxed paper.
