Stuffed Cabbage Or Galumpies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 pound ground beef
1 cup rice
1 large can tomato juice
1 small can stewed tomatoes
1 large onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, optional, chopped
1 large head cabbage, frozen, then thawed
2 eggs
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Mix beef, rice, eggs, bell pepper and salt and pepper. Take thawed cabbage, lay flat and cut vein out. Take scoops of rice mixture and lay in leaf and roll, tucking sides. Put in pot and cover with tomato juice and stewed tomatoes. Cook on low to medium heat for about 1 1/2 hours until rice is done. May add water if needed. Can be baked for 1 to 2 hours at 375\u00b0.
