Cheddar Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. biscuit mix
1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded sharp cheese
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl.
Set aside. Combine egg, milk and water; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
Stir in pecans.
Spoon batter into a lightly greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Let cool in pan for 10 minutes.
