Candy Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. granulated sugar
3 c. water
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
red food coloring
9 medium apples
Preparation

Cook ingredients quickly without stirring to 290\u00b0.
Add a few drops of red food coloring.
Place in hot water to keep from hardening.
Dip skewed apples at once.
Cool on a greased cookie sheet.
