Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 frozen pie shells, cooked
    1 small pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 c. sugar
    8 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 c. water
    2 pt. fresh strawberries
Preparation
    Cut strawberries in half and put one extra cup of sugar on them.
    Cook
    the cornstarch, Jell-O, water and sugar until thick and
    dark.
    Pour
    the juice off of the strawberries and put
    them in the cooked pie shells.
    Pour cooked mixture over strawberries and
    chill
    for
    one
    hour.
    Top
    with Cool Whip before serving.
