Quick Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. buttermilk
    about 4 cups self-rising flour
    butter or margarine
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Combine sugar, oil and buttermilk; stir into yeast mixture.
    Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough.
    Turn dough out on a lightly floured surface and knead 1-2 minutes or until smooth and elastic; roll to 1/2 inch thickness and cut with floured biscuit cutter.
    Place butter in center of each roll; fold over in half.
    Place rolls on heavily greased baking sheet; cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Yield:
    about 2 dozen rolls.
