Quiche-A-Roni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. chicken flavored Rice-A-Roni
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, grated
    1 1/4 c. half and half
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. thinly sliced green onions
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
Preparation
    Prepare Rice-A-Roni according to package directions using 2 1/2 cups water.
    Cool.
    Spoon Rice-A-Roni into 10-inch pie pan and mold to form a shell.
    Combine cheese, half and half, eggs, onions, salt and pepper.
    Pour into shell.
    Top with bacon chips. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until set.
    Cool 5 minutes and cut into wedges.
    Yields 6 servings.
