Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. Karo syrup (white)
    1 1/4 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add beaten eggs, flour, salt and flavoring.
    Add syrup and pecans.
    Stir well and pour in an unbaked crust.
    Bake slowly at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Makes 2 small pies or 1 large.
    Baking time is less if baking 2 small pies.
    Be careful not to overbake or pie will be dry.
    Cook just long enough that filling sets.
