Applesauce Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. chunky applesauce
    3 c. milk
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 (4 serving size) pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
    1 c. Minute long grain rice (uncooked)
Preparation
    Stir applesauce and pudding in a large saucepan.
    Stir in milk, rice, egg and cinnamon.
    Cook and stir on medium heat until mixture comes to a boil; remove from heat.
    Cool 5 minutes, stirring twice.
    Serve warm or cold.
    Makes 8 servings.
