Breakfast On A Bagel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 eggs
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 green onions, thinly sliced
    1/4 tsp. dried basil
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    4 bagels, cut in half
    3 tsp. butter or margarine, divided
    4 thin slices ham
    4 slices American cheese
Preparation
    In broiler or toaster oven, lightly toast bagels cut side up. In medium bowl, beat together eggs, water, green onions, basil, salt and pepper; set aside.
    In large nonstick skillet, melt 1 teaspoon butter over medium heat.
    Add ham and cook, turning often until lightly browned, about 1 minute.
    Lay on 4 bagel halves. Melt remaining 2 teaspoons butter in skillet over medium heat. Stir eggs and add to skillet.
    Cook 2 to 3 minutes.
    Stir occasionally until fully cooked.
    Divide up to put on bagel.
    Add cheese and cover with remaining bagel halves.
