Corn Bread - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. corn meal, sifted
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Cream together the margarine and sugar. Add eggs. Sift corn meal, flour, soda and salt. Add to margarine and sugar alternately with buttermilk. Bake around 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
