Italian Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope Italian dressing mix
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    9 oz. frozen Italian green beans, cooked and drained
    7 oz. pitted ripe olives
    1 c. sliced celery
    1 small red onion
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    16 oz. chickpeas or red kidney beans
Preparation
    In a medium bowl, stir together dressing mix and vinegar.
    Add beans, chickpeas, olives, celery and thinly sliced onion.
    Toss to coat well.
    Cover and chill at least 4 hours or overnight.
    Just before serving, toss with mayonnaise.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
