Sweet Pickle Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    fresh cucumbers (medium size)
    11 1/4 c. vinegar
    9 c. sugar
    9 Tbsp. canning salt
    13 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    13 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    2 1/4 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Wash and cut cucumbers into sticks.
    Pour boiling water over them; let stand overnight.
    Next morning, pack in jars.
    Fix solution made of remaining ingredients.
    Boil for 5 minutes.
    Pour over cucumbers and process for 5 minutes in boiling water.
    Be sure and drain water off after packing in jars, before pouring solution over them.
