Three Week Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. cabbage, very coarsely chopped
    2 green peppers, chopped coarsely
    2 onions, chopped coarsely
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. cooking oil
    2 tsp. salt
    1 c. apple cider vinegar
Preparation
    Combine cabbage, peppers, onions and sugar and mix well.
    Mix oil, vinegar, salt and pour over cabbage mixture and stir until very well mixed.
    Store in refrigerator in airtight container.
    Let stand at least 2 to 3 days.
    Flavor improves the longer it stands. Keeps well refrigerated.
