Curried Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    4 tsp. curry powder
    1 can pear halves
    1 can peaches
    1 can apricots
    1 can pineapple chunks
    10 to 12 maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Cream together butter, brown sugar and curry powder.
    Drain fruit well and put in a 2-quart baking dish.
    Cover with sugar mixture.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cool and refrigerate.
    Reheat and serve.
    May use any fruit except fruit cocktail.
