Baked Indian Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1 pt. corn meal
    1/2 pt. molasses
    1 Tbsp. butter (pure)
    3 eggs
    grated lemon peel
    raisins
    butter and sugar
Preparation
    Pour into a quart of boiling milk over a pint of corn meal. Let it stand to cool.
    Take 1/2 pint of molasses or enough to sweeten the pudding.
    Put 1 tablespoon of butter with molasses and let it melt on the stove.
    Put in three well-beaten eggs without separating the whites and yolks.
    Mix well, adding some grated lemon peel and raisins.
    Bake slowly 1 hour.
