Oven Barbecue Round Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak
    shortening
    1 small onion, cut in rings
    1 small pepper, chopped
    1 can tomato soup
    1/2 soup can water
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    garlic salt to taste
Preparation
    Cut steak in serving pieces; dredge in flour.
    Brown in shortening.
    Add onion, green pepper, garlic salt, salt and pepper.
    Turn into casserole.
    Mix together remaining ingredients. Pour over meat.
    Bake, uncovered, at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours.
    Check during cooking; add more water if necessary.
    Serves 6.
