Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef or turkey
    1 very large green pepper, cut into small pieces
    2 very large white onions, cut into small pieces
    1 qt. crushed tomatoes
    1 can dark red kidney beans, drained and washed
    1/4 tsp. dried crushed red pepper
    salt
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Fry onions and green peppers separately in oil until soft. Add a little water and continue cooking 15 minutes.
    Fry turkey or beef in oil until red is gone.
    Add a little water and continue cooking for 15 minutes.
    Add tomatoes and kidney beans (prefer Raggedy Ann brand).
    Place tomatoes and kidney beans in a kettle; cook until hot.
    Add onions, green peppers and meat.
    Add red pepper and some salt.
    Add chili powder.
    Cook 1 hour.
    Add water, if needed.
