Brown Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. parboiled long grain brown rice
    2 3/4 c. hot water
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter (optional)
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine all
    ingredients in a 3 quart casserole; cover. Microwave on High
    5
    minutes.
    Reduce power to Medium; microwave until liquid is
    absorbed
    and
    rice
    is tender, 25 to 35 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
