Strawberry Nut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1 c. or less coarsely chopped nuts
    1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 medium bananas, mashed
    1 c. sour cream
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine Jell-O and boiling water.
    Stir until dissolved, then fold in all at once the strawberries with juice, drained pineapple, bananas and nuts.
    Turn 1/2 of mixture into glass 13 x 9-inch dish as first layer.
    Refrigerate until firm (about 1 hour).
    Evenly spread top with sour cream mixed with Cool Whip.
    Gently spoon on rest of mixture and refrigerate.
