Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak
    1/2 c. butter
    1 pkg. dried onion soup mix
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    4 c. water
    3/4 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cut meat into 1/2-inch strips.
    Brown meat in butter in large Dutch oven.
    Add onion soup mix, mushroom soup and 2 cups water. Cook 45 minutes.
    Add rice and 2 cups water.
    Cook until water is absorbed.
    Add sour cream before serving.
