Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

9-inch baked pie shell
1 qt. strawberries
1 c. sugar
1 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
a bit of salt
1 tsp. lemon juice (if desired)
Preparation

Divide strawberries in half, putting the best ones in the bottom of pie shell.
Mash the rest of the berries and put in a saucepan.
Add sugar, cornstarch, salt and lemon juice.
Stir mixture constantly until thick.
Pour over berries in pie plate. Refrigerate until cool.
Serve topped with whipped cream.
