Leola'S Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head cabbage, shredded
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1 stalk celery, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
3 carrots, shredded
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation

Mix cabbage and salt.
Let stand two hours. Boil sugar, vinegar and water, then let cool.
Mix celery, pepper, carrots, celery and mustard seed and add to other ingredients. Mix well. This freezes well.
