Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.
Add flour.
Roll into little balls.
Put on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with fingers dipped in egg white.
Put oven at 350\u00b0.
Bake for 12 minutes.
