Julie'S Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 to 8 graham crackers
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Line a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with foil, allowing ends to hang over edge.
    Break each graham cracker into four rectangles.
    Place graham crackers in a single layer in foil-lined pan; set aside.
    In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring margarine and sugar to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
    Pour over graham crackers.
    Sprinkle with pecans.
    Bake for 10 minutes or until bubbly and topping is no longer clear.
    For easier removal of cookies, let them sit for a minute or so after taking pan out of oven.
    Carefully lift 2 to 3 rectangles out at a time with a spatula.
    Place on wire racks to cool.
