Ziti And Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. ziti
    1 1/2 c. broccoli florets
    1 medium red pepper, sliced
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    2 tsp. mandarin rind
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 c. half and half
    2 tsp. vegetable oil
    1 medium yellow pepper, sliced
    2 green onions, chopped
    1 lb. medium sized shrimp
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3/4 ground ginger
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarins, drained
Preparation
    Cook ziti according to package directions.
    Drain well, place in a large serving dish, cover with foil and keep warm.
    Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
    Add broccoli, pepper, onions and oregano.
    Cover and cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the shrimp, mandarin peel, garlic, salt and ginger.
    Cook uncovered for 4 to 6 minutes or until shrimp is bright pink.
    Stir in the half and half, bring to a boil, reduce heat, cook covered for 2 minutes.
    Pour sauce over ziti, toss well.
    Place well drained mandarins over top, serve.
    Serves 4 to 6.
