Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. (about 3) sieved bananas
    2 eggs
    2 1/3 c. chopped nuts
    2 1/3 c. buttermilk or milk
Preparation
    Stir shortening just to soften.
    Stir in dry ingredients.
    Add bananas and half the milk.
    Mix until all flour is dampened, then beat vigorously for 2 minutes.
    Add remaining milk and eggs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
