Apple Roll - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
5 Tbsp. Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cinnamon
2 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together; cut in Crisco.
Add milk and mix well.
Roll dough out to about 1/4-inch thick.
Keep in oblong shape.
Spread with soft butter, then a generous amount of chopped apples and sugar.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and roll tightly.
Cut into slices about 2-inch thick and place in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Keep slices close together.
On top of each roll, place a slice of apple.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 30 minutes. Jonathan apples do well!
