Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 c. cream of chicken soup
    12 oz. grated cheese
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 small onion
    2 c. crushed cornflakes
    1/2 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Place potatoes into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Mix next 6 ingredients and pour over potatoes.
    Top with crushed cornflakes; then top with melted butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 12.
